After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2020, having studied Information Technology Management for Business, Tom joined re-source future of work where he undertook deep research into the Open Talent industry. In particular, platforms and began advising clients on how to access skills from these freelance marketplaces.
Continuing his journey working in exciting Start-up’s, Tom joined Source-re upon its inception in 2021. He quickly took to procurement and sourcing advisory working on projects with major global outsourcers, consultancies, technology providers, and enterprises in the Pharma and Technology industries. Tom has thrived working on multiple different projects, and has turned his hand to a variety of different service offerings including: procurement strategy, sourcing processes, spend analysis, bid support and pipeline growth among others.
Alongside working with Source-re, Tom continued his work in the Open Talent industry – as an advisor with Open Assembly. Using his knowledge of talent platforms and marketplaces, Tom has been deployed in many enterprises to introduce adoption of open talent models. Tom has found great success working as the Point of contact between client and platform, as a 'talent liaison', identify needs and finding talent etc.
Tom is also responsible for creating Open Assembly’s platform directory (over 500 platforms), enabling all users to access information and find the right platform for them.
